CA275 (2021) 11kV Distribution STATCOM

Northern Ireland Electricity Networks Ltd (NIE Networks) has a requirement for the supply and delivery of a pole mounted STATCOM for use on NIE Networks' 11kV Distribution Network, including power supply, control and communications equipment. The manufacturer will be responsible for providing: • Suitable protection of the STATCOM, using ENA assessed relays; • Sufficient spares; and • Any cable and connections necessary to connect the STATCOM. There will be one Economic Operator appointed onto the framework agreement. This will be awarded to the highest ranked most economically advantageous tenderer.
